Registration will open tomorrow afternoon at 4 pm CST, that’s 5 pm Eastern & 2 pm Pacific. I believe that will make it 9 am in Sydney, 10 pm in London, & 11pm in Italy.

As I’m sure you know, Vincent Diamond and I had a booth at NC Pride on Saturday. The celebration this year was bigger and better than ever. We had a blast watching the festivities and chatting with those who stopped by our booth. Plus, the weather was almost perfect, leaning a little toward the hot side at 95 degrees, but Duke University has beautiful grounds which are shaded by huge trees that blocked a good deal of the sun and kept up from melting like Popsicles languishing on asphalt in the middle of July.

I skipped away from the table long enough to buy a couple of T-shirts and snap some pictures of the parade. I took quite a few photos - more than I can upload here. However, the best of the lot can be found below. Just click on thumbnails for a bigger view.

 Today was the annual Pride in the Park festival, which is held n Elmwood Park here in Roanoke, Virginia. I shared a booth with JM Snyder, Vincent Diamond, Beth Wylde, and Marguerite Labbe. It was a beautiful day with a clear blue sky and weather in the low-to-mid nineties. A ton of people came out for the celebration and a good time was had by all.

I met a bunch of very sweet people, sold some books, and handed out a ton of promo. Actually, I ran completely out of goody bags by noon. I’m going to have to make some more before Durham Pride this upcoming weekend or I won’t have anything to hand out to anyone else.

I’m home from CON.TXT. Miss me? I had a fabulous time and met a lot of great people, including writers Andrew Grey, Cecilia Tan, Clare London, TC Blue, Parhelion, and AR Moler. JM Snyder, Marguerite Labbe, and Vincent Diamond were there as well (all three of which I had the pleasure of meeting long before this weekend).

It was a great, very laid back con (my first) and I’d definitely recommend you check it out when it returns in 2012 if you get the chance. Below are some pics for you. I’m sorry to say I didn’t get pictures of everyone who was there. I somehow missed snapping shots of TC Blue, JM Snyder, and Marguerite Labbe. No idea how I managed that.

I’m so excited! I’m on my way to a slash convention — CON.TXT  — this morning, which is being held at the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza in Silver Spring, Maryland. I have the pleasure of traveling with Vincent Diamond to and from the event and hope to meet a ton of fabulous people. I know JM Snyder will be there, as well as people from Dreamspinner Press and Torquere. If any of you are planning to attend or are in the area, make sure you swing by and say hello.

I’m taking my laptop, so I should have updates and pictures for you all soon. Make sure you check back.

Yesterday I made the long drive up to Columbus, Ohio for the Romantic Times book fair. It was a huge signing, with something like 300 authors, although I was a little disappointed that there were so few of the M/M variety. I did get to meet D. Renee Bagby, ZA Maxfield, Tia Fanning, and Belinda McBride, which was very cool. Then my husband and I had a late lunch with Carol Lynne, Brynn Paulin, Bronwyn Green, and Susie, before heading back. All in all, it was a fun day.

There are some pictures for you below. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a single one of me, Brynn, or the hotel. I don’t know what I was thinking.

Hi guys! I’ve solidified some plans for a few upcoming appearances and wanted to go ahead and share them with you. There may be a couple more that get added to the list as my plans for the rest of 2010 finish coming together. September 26th was spent in Durham, North Carolina at the 25th annual Pridefest. It was held on the east campus of Duke University, which always brings out droves of students - or at least it seems that way. There were a ton of young people out and about this past Saturday. In Pride event actually seemed a bit larger to me compared to last year. Although there haven’t been any number reported, I’d hazard a guess and say there were five or six thousand people there.

I was lucky enough to share a table with Vincent Diamond and Beth Wylde for the event. My hubby came along to help out with the tent and show support.

Unfortunately, the rain didn’t want to let us stay and play for long. We were lucky enough to be there that morning and through the afternoon for the parade, but shortly thereafter it started raining. When it showed no signs of abating, we packed up and headed home around four thirty.
