I’m sorry to say Amazon decided to block the second book in my Mackenzie Twins series, Tempestuous Revelation, this evening. Honestly, I’m surprised this didn’t happen sooner considering that they blocked the first book in the series some time ago. For some reason, the second book somehow escaped their notice until recently.
So for the foreseeable future, any and all stories I pen involving Dom and Mason (including the two already published) will no longer be sold at Amazon. You’ll have to visit one of the other online retailers who don’t censor the titles they sell. I’m most sorry about the inconvenience any of you readers will face when trying to purchase these titles. However, there are direct buy-links available on each story’s webpage here on my website. I hope that helps at least a bit.

That it does. At least I was expecting it this time though.

hi, Amanda:
I had no idea that Amazon rejects certain books - based on content, I’m assuming? If so, now I really want to read your books!!

It is a content thing, Mara. The Tempestuous series is about twins…doing naughty things with each other. lol

In the last year I know Amazon has removed a number of books that I had previously purchased there. I’m torn because I like the ability to lend and convenience of Amazon, but I don’t like supporting a company that I disagree with on their publishing policies.

Hi Laura! I think Amazon has its good points and its bad ones. I still purchase some things there, but I do try to spread my money around when I’m buying books and movies and stuff. It’s scary to think of any one company becoming so large that they have a monopoly.

Well this is craptastic in the extreme. Sorry to hear they removed your book. But, I’m with Mara. It just makes me want to read it all the more. It’s time to go buy it now. LOL! It has been on the list for a while, anyway. Now that school is done, maybe I’ll actually have time. Hugs to you!

Thanks Amanda! It does stink, but it’s part of the business.

Too bad you can’t sue them for censorship, but I know it doesn’t work that way.
That really bites, but at least the kindle format is available elsewhere and if you don’t purchase it from Amazon, you don’t have to worry about them randomly yanking it from your kindle when they get a bug up their but.
