My Top 3 - Vampire Movies

April 20th, 2010 by Amanda Young

My top three favorite vampire flicks, listed in no particular order.

the-lost-boys.jpgThe Lost Boys (1987) Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. It’s fun to be a vampire.

This movie has a kickass soundtrack, plenty of teen angst, and eye candy galore if you’re into 80’s hair. I love it.

from-dusk-till-dawn.jpgDusk Till Dawn (1996)Two criminals and their hostages unknowingly seek temporary refuge in an establishment populated by vampires, with chaotic results.

What’s better than George Clooney playing a bad boy, Salma Hayek in a bikini, and a horde of hungry vampires?

fright-night-movie-poster.jpgFright Night (1985)When a teenager learns that his next door neighbor is a vampire, no one will believe him.

You might notice a theme in these movies by now. I have a real fondness for campy films. This one is no different. I watched it so many times as a child that my youngest sister is actually named after the character played by Amanda Bearse in this flick. I also had a mega-crush on Chris Sarandon.
