September 26th was spent in Durham, North Carolina at the 25th annual Pridefest. It was held on the east campus of Duke University, which always brings out droves of students - or at least it seems that way. There were a ton of young people out and about this past Saturday. In Pride event actually seemed a bit larger to me compared to last year. Although there haven’t been any number reported, I’d hazard a guess and say there were five or six thousand people there.

I was lucky enough to share a table with Vincent Diamond and Beth Wylde for the event. My hubby came along to help out with the tent and show support.

Unfortunately, the rain didn’t want to let us stay and play for long. We were lucky enough to be there that morning and through the afternoon for the parade, but shortly thereafter it started raining. When it showed no signs of abating, we packed up and headed home around four thirty.
