Guest blogging…

November 30th, 2008 by Amanda Young

Today I’m a guest blogger on Jon Michaelsen’s website. I’m talking about a upcoming series I’m working on, and requesting reader’s opinions on what they’d like to see more of in the M/M genre. Drop by and say hi if you get the chance.

What color is your rainbow?

November 29th, 2008 by Amanda Young

It’s almost creepy how right this quiz wound up. Try it for yourself and then share you answers.

Your rainbow is intensely shaded brown, red, and violet.

What is says about you: You are a creative person. You appreciate the roughness of nature. You feel closer to people when you understand their imperfections. You get bored easily and want friends who will keep up with you.

Find the colors of your rainbow at spacefem.com.

A bunch of updates & good news…

November 26th, 2008 by Amanda Young

Don’t Look Back, a romantic suspense novel co-authored with Michelle Cary, has been accepted at Amber Quill. This will be my first M/F story in quite a while, and my first non-erotic romance book. There’s no word on the release date just yet, but I’ll let you all know when I hear something.

I was also just informed that Something More is scheduled to go into print. I have no idea of the release date for this paperback, but I’m SUPER thrilled about it. Something More was the first of my stories to be released to the public (though not the first to be written) and it’s always been one of my favorites. You can bet I’ll let everyone know the minute it’s available on Amazon.

In other news, The Hard Truth (the sequel to Secrets & Lies) finally has a release date. It’ll debut at Loose Id on January 20, 2009.

One day sale at Loose Id

November 15th, 2008 by Amanda Young

Taken from the Loose Id website:

A Solidarity Sale
With True Love and Marriage for All. Isn’t that what erotic romance is about? Finding the one or two or five persons you want to spend the rest of your life with, having blistering hot sex with them, and being fulfilled in your wildest fantasies of a life? Not everyone wants to get married or needs to, but if they do, then let them!

Today, November 15th, there are protests around the country to support marriage equality and overturn initiatives preventing gay marriage. We know this is a divisive issue, and while we feel strongly about it, we’ve elected not to make a direct donation of sales proceeds to the cause. Instead, for today only, we’re offering you an 8% discount on all purchases totalling over $1.00 and encouraging those of you who support the freedom to marry to make your own donation to Marriage Equality USA, No on Prop 8 California or the local group of your choice.
