Back from Pride

September 28th, 2008 by Amanda Young

I’m home from Pride, and exhausted. Vincent Diamond and I has a great time and met tons of fabulous people.

It was a super fun day, and the parade was awesome. I have a ton of pictures to share, but they won’t all fit here. I’ll select a few of the best to share here and then the rest will be available via my yahoo group and myspace albums.

Just click on the thumbnail photos for a bigger view.

More Contract News…

September 28th, 2008 by Amanda Young

My latest novella, Furtive Liaison, has been accepted at Amber Quill. The contract has been signed sealed and delivered, so I thought I would share my good news with you all. :)

Here’s a rough peek at the blurb:

Shawn couldn’t find the time for love, until Marc turned his life upside down in the best way possible. The discovery of a yellow rubber ducky shatters Shawn’s world and sends him on a downward spiral of confusion. Heartbroken, he must determine whether his relationship with Marc was real, or only an illusion of happiness.

Diamonds can be a boy’s best friend, too.

Especially the erotic short stories of Vincent Diamond, sparkling with cut, color, and clarity. Here are sensual encounters between real men that will leave readers feverish to turn the next page.

“Florida , heat, cops, bad guys, and animals. Vincent writes about them with obvious passion and care. Not to mention that these stories are sure to get you hot under the collar. Be sure to add this collection to your bookcase!” — Sean Michael

Brand new review for Missing in Action

September 23rd, 2008 by Amanda Young

Rated 5 Hearts!

“Ms. Young builds an excellent tale. Macabre blends with humor very well as Shamus and Tristan give each other a hard time for stress relief every chance they get. The storyline plays well, the eroticism is fun and the ending is very well done for a little heart in your throat suspense if you‘re not paying attention to a little hint along the way. This is great reading.”

Photos from Roanoke Pride

September 22nd, 2008 by Amanda Young

I’m a little ashamed to admit I didn’t have a lot of time to wander around Pride and snap photos. I spent most of the day in the booth I shared with author Vincent Diamond, talking to people and pimping books. :)

Here are a few random pictures I snapped at Pride in the Park. Click on the photos for a bigger look.
