Secrets and Lies is another intriguing and well-written paranormal story by talented Ms. Young. On the surface, it appears to be a typical vampire tale, and then she adds in the twist of their ‘real’ origin, giving her story a unique spin I’ve never read before. Teague is an intense, sexy and interesting man, long used to depending on no one but his brother. I loved the description of Teague’s unrest and confusion of his feelings for Kyle and his almost overwhelming desire to protect him. These two lovers make a good counterpoint to each other and they’re obviously perfect for each other, even as Teague struggles not to admit his feelings for Kyle. Together they are passionate, sexy and erotic.”
